Comic Foreground

BRIEF: To suppport the promotional materials for the 2006 Summer Party, generate a series of retro-styled animations to be used by fellow designers on promotional materials. In addition, produce a Comic Foreground to be used at events globally.

DETAILS: The concept behind the 2006 Summer Party was "Good, clean fun for the entire family!" and all materials produced for the events needed to evoke the more innocent times of the 1950’s.

Several designers contributed to the styleguide and campaign. One highlight for me personally was the illustration and design of a Comic Foreground to be used at the event. It featured illustrations of an Astro-Boy and Astro-Girl, and was assembled by the inhouse facilities department. They really did an outstanding job bringing my design to fruition.

In addition, I created various illustrations to be used in other promotional materials:

Summer Party Illustrations - Milkshake, Radio, and BBQ Grill

Summer Party Illustrations - Robot
While I did not design the banners themselves, my illustrations appeared on these and other materials globally.
