This custom represents the Doctor in his first incarnation, as portrayed by William Hartnell. The First Doctor uses a DC Direct Elijah Snow (Planetary) figure as a starting off point. This base has been reworked to have longer tails, a new vest, and a modified collar. A Motorcycle Dr. Evil figure donated its head. I then added hair using Kneadatite. Kneadatite was also used for the tie.

The version on the previous pages is actually my second attempt at this character. The first, rejected prototype can be seen above. I was experimenting with decoupage for the fabric patterns. While not a bad attempt, I didn’t like how the figure was progressing and decided to abandon the collaged fabric in lieu of hand painting the patterns.
