This painting has more emotional significance to me than artistic merit, I suppose. There are parts of it I like, parts that scream “unfinished,” but the positives outweigh the negatives, I suppose. It was the only time I was able to have my mother and step-father sit together, and I’m forever grateful for the experience.

Though this isn’t my favorite piece, I’m still proud of some of the work that went into it. Everyone was sleepy that day, myself included.
