Childhood Revisited explores the toys I had as a youth. Growing up in the late 1970s and early 1980s, I was fortunate enough to begin a collection of some of the most amazing action figures ever released. The Vintage Kenner Star Wars toys were a highlight of my collection, followed closely by Mego Comic Action Heroes, Super Powers, Transformers, anything Batman and Robin, Battlestar Galactica, Micronauts, and occasionally G.I. Joe.

I am currently a portrait and figure painter, working out of New York City. Nostalgia is an important theme to my work, and I am pleased to unveil a new series of images, drawing upon the memories associated with my childhood toys. These action figures were integral to my formative years, and I proudly have them on display all these years later. They are not only a collection, but they are a direct link to my childhood. My history in figure form.

Thank you for sharing in my childhood memories. I hope they help you reconnect with childhood memories of your own.
