"China" Acrylic and Ink on paper. 14 x 18 inches. Painted 1997 by Matt 'Iron-Cow' Cauley.

Shortly after graduating from Parsons School of Design, I continued my education, studying under my former teacher, the late great David Passalacqua. Dave’s class would involve marathon drawing sessions from sunrise to sunset, day after day over the course of three and a half weeks. Week one would focus at various locations around Manhattan. Week two would relocate us down to Disney World in Orlando. Finally, we would regroup back in New York to finish off the sessions.

Despite what the title might imply, this was actually painted in Ft. Lauderdalle. At EPCOT. But I was in the China exhibit, at least.
